The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is again taking applications for full time residents who meet the age, income, or disability requirements to enroll in the Sugarloaf Berm removal program. Eligible applicants will receive approval for reimbursement of up to $250 for contractors to remove their berm during the upcoming winter season 22-23. To be eligible, all members of the household must be 65 or older, Full-time residents of CSA 70 R-5 (Sugarloaf), meet the income requirements or show proof of a qualifying disability. Applications must be received by the department prior to November 1, 2022, through either, email, mail or drop off at Big Bear Valley Recreation & Park District.
