Bloomington Recreation and Park District Staff completed the 2021 CIP to rejuvenate the Kessler Park Basketball Court. When the skate park was expanded over 15 years ago, the basketball court had to be reduced in size to make room. The Hoops were placed back to back making it impossible for Recreation staff to conduct basketball leagues and unable for users to hold full court games. Two brand new Gorilla hoops were installed at opposite ends of the concrete slab so that full court games could be played. The court was then professionally painted and lined with fresh white paint.
