The formation of Community Facilities District 2006-1 (CFD)  was approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors on March 13, 2007.  The CFD will provide a portion of funds needed to address specific public facilities and services.  Some of the types of public facility improvements to be financed by the CFD may include wastewater treatment facilities, road improvements, culvert crossings and traffic signals, bridge improvements, trails and trail-related landscape improvements, sanitary sewer system, drainage and flood protection improvements, community park improvements, and police protection facilities and land, rights-of-way and easements necessary for any such facilities.

Services to be financed by the CFD include fire protection services, maintenance of parks, parkways and open space, and flood and storm protection services.
