NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS OF COUNTY SERVICE AREAS:

On April 7, 2017, Governor Brown issued Executive Order B-40-17 terminating the Drought State of Emergency issued in 2014.  Therefore, at this time, in keeping with the Governor’s Executive Order and considering the local water supply, we are rescinding Conservation Stage 1 of County Ordinance SD 15-04 by lifting the restrictions for County Service Area water customers on the number of days per week that outdoor irrigation can occur.

 Important Notice for Our Valued Customers.

We ask that you continue to adhere to Executive Order B-37-16, “Making Conservation a California Way of Life” restrictions that prohibit wasteful practices such as:

• Hosing off sidewalks, driveways and other hardscapes;

• Washing automobiles with hoses not equipped with a shut-off nozzle;

• Using non-recirculated water in a fountain or other decorative water feature;

• Watering lawns in a manner that causes runoff, or within 48 hours after measurable
   precipitation; and

• Irrigating ornamental turf on public street medians.
