Department of Public Works, Special Districts Division is pleased to announce the completion of Snowdrop Road Project. The project entailed construction of 2.1 miles of new asphalt roadway, retaining walls, drainage infrastructure and guiderails. Historically, this unimproved dirt road struggled with significant weather erosion that made the road impassable at times and portions of the road could only accommodate one way traffic. The new road accommodates two way traffic and provides safe driving conditions and access to emergency and fire trucks in this high fire risk area. The drainage infrastructure will provide long term protection from major erosions and flooding events.
