Kessler Park – Saturday February 4th
Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, San Bernardino County Regional Parks, Public Works and Bloomington Recreation & Parks District Co-sponsored for Bloomington’s first ever Fly a Kite Day with Supervisor Baca. The event was a major success with 156 Kite Flyers registered and nearly 250 people participated in the event. The perfect weather with Breeze right around noon time was helpful to the Children to get those Kits flying. 3 food vendors participated and contributed to the success of the event: Luna snowballs, FJ Kettle Corn and Los Zarapes Birria tacos. County Departments hosted event booths and shared with kids the important work they do for the community:

Supervisor Baca provided beautiful kites that many children were able to fly a kite for the first time. Regional Parks Department provided kites that can be decorated.
