The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Jackson Street Phase II Streetlight Project, South of W. C Street and West of N. Cypress Avenue. The newly installed pole-mounted LED streetlights along Jackson Street are designed to greatly improve visibility, enhancing safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. Featuring energy-efficient LED technology, these lights deliver brighter, more dependable illumination while reducing energy use and lowering maintenance costs, thereby helping to promote sustainability. We are confident these enhancements will positively contribute to the community’s quality of life, creating a safer, more welcoming neighborhood for everyone.
