The Department of Public Works—Special Districts is excited to share the successful completion of the CSA 70 F Morongo Valley Water Tank Replacement Project. This important project marks a significant improvement in our water infrastructure.

This project included the demolition of an outdated 220,000-gallon potable bolted water storage tank, construction of a new 139,000-gallon bolted steel water storage tank and installation of new piping, valves, and erosion control measures.

By replacing the aging tank with a new, modern facility, we’re taking a proactive approach to maintenance that brings lasting benefits to the Morongo Valley community. This project improves water storage capability and safeguards the long-term sustainability of our water resources.
