The Department of Public Works—Special Districts is excited to announce the successful completion of the CSA 70J Oak Hills – Water Main Relocations on Various Roads in Hesperia Project!
This project involved installing approximately 2,700 linear feet of 12-inch water main pipe, including five 12-inch gate valves, one 8-inch gate valve, four hydrant assemblies, three mainline reconnections, and six water service reconnections along Rodeo Road and Pizer Avenue.
These improvements place the new water line at industry-standard depths, eliminating the existing shallow and vulnerable waterline that was prone to leaks and mainline breaks. The new waterline will be installed at depths that make it less susceptible to damage, increase the facility’s longevity, and enhance service to the community. The Department is proud of this investment
