The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Banyan Avenue and Bohnert Avenue Streetlight Project. As part of this effort, eight new pole-mounted LED streetlights were mounted to existing wooden poles; four along Banyan Avenue and four along Bohnert Ave.
These upgrades enhance safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists by providing brighter, more consistent illumination. The use of energy‑efficient LED technology also supports our commitment to sustainability by reducing both energy consumption and long‑term maintenance costs.
