The Big Bear Recreation and Parks District showed off their spooky side with the wildly successful launch of the first annual Big Scare Halloween Terrifying Trail at Grimm Beach (also known as Swim Beach). This free event ran from October 25 through October 30, welcoming families and thrill-seekers alike from 6:00 to 9:00 PM each night.
Transforming Grimm Beach into a chilling trail, the Recreation Team, along with a cast of dedicated volunteers, put on a show full of scares, fun, and Halloween spirit. The event attracted a large turnout, making it an instant community favorite. A big thanks goes out to all who participated and supported the Big Scare’s debut, helping make Halloween in Big Bear unforgettable!
