The Beyond the Bell program represents a tremendous combined effort on the part of the Bear Valley Unified School District, Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley, and the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District, which is aimed at providing safe, quality, affordable care to school aged valley residents. The program is available at Baldwin Lane Elementary School, and includes after school care for children in grades kindergarten through six.
The Beyond the Bell is a safe haven for children to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We believe each child is special and unique and has a right to quality care which helps promote positive self-image and worth. The Beyond the Bell staff strives to provide a secure, protected, well-rounded program. We are here for the kids who need childcare, as well as kids who just want to attend Beyond the Bell because it’s FUN!! The quality, care and commitment that has been the stabilizing force of this program is strengthened by the fact that all three sites are state licensed and staffed by certified personnel.

Registration for Beyond the Bell new school year has started!
Fill out the Registration Packet and then come in to the Park and Rec Office located at 41220 Park Avenue, Big Bear Lake, to complete the registration

SIBBV has 50% tuition assistance available for low income families with working parents. Information available at the Park District Office.
Fees include most program supplies, snacks and supplies.
