The Department of Public Works pleased to announce the lease agreement and subsequent project with Verizon to install a cell tower at CSA 70 Zone J facility site is completed. The 5-year agreement will generate $153,602 revenue to the district with an option to extend for two additional terms. The agreement was a collaboration of five years worth of efforts between the Department, County Real Estate Services and Verizon. The two departments are currently exploring other vendors to co-locate at this site within the next few years which will further increase the revenues for CSA 70 Zone J. This added revenue will offset operating costs for CSA 70 Zone J customers as well as provide enhanced connectivity for the area and the I-15 corridor.
