The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce following updates to the Kessler Park Revitalization projects for the month of September 2023:
On August 11, 2023, 5th District Supervisor Joe Baca Jr. had the privilege of breaking ground at Kessler Park, in the Bloomington Area. The day celebrated the start of several exciting projects for Kessler Park. Snack Bar and Restroom Renovation Construction Updates:
Construction began Monday, August 7, 2023, on the Kessler Park Snack Bar and Restroom Project. The initial phase of the project includes the demolition of the snack bar building interior, roof and restrooms. Please refer to the demolition photos to see the progress so far.
Corridor and Wi-Fi Construction Updates:
On July 25, 2023, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors awarded the Kessler Park Corridor and Wi-Fi Project. This project will upgrade the existing common area corridor with new concrete paving, shade structures, picnic tables, fencing, installation of a decorative wiffle ball design at the front of the snack bar area, and installation of high speed wi-fi throughout the park. This project will bring an updated fun and functional look for all Bloomington’s athletes and their families to enjoy.
Construction began Monday, September 18, 2023, on the Kessler Corridor and Wi-fi Project. Please refer to the demolition photos to see the progress so far.
