The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce the completion of the MacKay Park Restroom Renovation Project! The original MacKay Park restrooms were constructed with a dual-vault style septic tank that required weekly maintenance by a septic pump. In 2018, the Lake Arrowhead Community Services District (LACSD) constructed a sewer main that runs adjacent to the Park’s restrooms. The MacKay Park Restroom Renovation Project upgraded the septic tank toilets to a combo toilet/sink unit and tied into the existing sewer main and water lines. The upgraded restroom is a great addition to the park and community. The upgrades will save time and money in maintenance.
