On August 26th, the San Bernardino County Department of Public Works – Special Districts, Bloomington Recreation & Parks District (BRPD), proudly welcomed 18 new, one-piece concrete picnic tables and a dual concrete BBQ grill to Kessler Park.
In preparation for this exciting upgrade, the old tables were removed, and the concrete areas were thoroughly power washed. Each of the new 2,500-pound tables was carefully placed under existing picnic shelters and other spaces throughout the park. Seven tables now enhance the newly developed corridor area, seven have found a home under the new shelters, two offer a perfect view of Baseball Fields 3 and 4, and two additional tables have been placed in open space areas.
These new additions are set to breathe new life into Kessler Park, offering upgraded amenities that will make the park an even more inviting place for the community to gather and enjoy. This project was made possible thanks to generous funding from the Fifth District. We invite everyone to come out, explore the new features, and enjoy a perfect day at Kessler Park!
