The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce the successful completion of the CSA 70F Morongo Valley – Emergency 10K Sanding Tank Repair Project. The tank was experiencing ongoing leaks and due to the deterioration of the tank, patching was not an option. Replacing the tank was also not feasible. This initiative utilized a cost-effective approach to repair the tank by installing a tank liner. The project team worked quickly to install a temporary tank, install the liner, and receive all approvals to return the tank back to service.
We take pride in this accomplishment and remain committed to the ongoing maintenance of the Sanding tank for the benefit of our community!
