The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce the completion of the Big Bear Ranch Court Renovation Project.
The Big Bear Ranch is a facility operated by the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Parks District and was once used for tennis camps and clinics throughout the warmer months. Over the years the focus of the property has been shifted towards extracurricular activities for the community to enjoy in the beautiful outdoors. The Big Bear Ranch Court Renovation Project included the demo of a few existing structures, which paved the way for more space to provide a gorgeous venue for disc golf and other outdoor sports. The improvements also included the restructuring of 4 courts and resurfacing 8 courts to provide the community with high quality courts to play pickle ball in a location with some of the best views in Southern California
