CSA 70 R-5 SUGARLOAF was established by an act of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors on March 5, 1980 to maintain 20.91 miles of paved and unpaved roads. On May 1, 2007 voters approved a special tax of $60 per parcel, per year with a 2.5% inflationary factor. This road zone receives a $69.60 special tax for 2013-14 on 3,520 parcels to fund road maintenance and snow removal services. This zone utilizes a Property Owners Association that communicates monthly with Special Districts.
