The R-49 Paving Project is located in Fawnskin on the north shore of Big Bear lake. The new District was formed as an improvement zone to provide for new road construction and ongoing maintenance and snowplow services. The project consisted of pulverizing and repaving approximately 32,000 square feet of roadway servicing 21 residences along Seminole Drive. The project was completed in January 2022. The District has been included in Special Districts road operations inspection routine and snow removal services and ongoing maintenance has commenced.
