On June 8th five flatbed 18-wheelers brought in rolls of sod for all the turf areas in the new Ayala Park. That is over 160 tons of grass! A lot of planning and preparation went to the arrival of this beautiful turf. Crews worked hard, swiftly and professionally to install sod in new Ayala Park. Ayala Park has one large open play area of turf and several passive areas of turf which were all installed on the same day. The new sod is a beautiful and colorful addition to the new park and we can’t wait to share it with the community when the park opens this August.
