In an example of public and private collaboration, County Service Area 20, Joshua Tree, and the local Sportsman’s Club have joined together to hold a weekly Bingo event. The Sportsman’s Club were able to successfully transfer their Bingo license address to the Community Center at Sunburst Park. In addition, the Club assisted Joshua Tree Maintenance staff to install three new 75-inch TV screens to show the called numbers during the event. Labor Day weekend was the first event with over 60 participants. The weekly event is held in Chellette Hall on Sunday’s and lasts approximately two hours.
