On Friday, September 29, 2023, through Sunday, October 1, 2023, the Department of Public Works, Special Districts Water and Sanitation Division (WAS) staff attended the annual fall High Desert Home Show (HDHS) that was held at the San Bernardino County fairgrounds in Victorville. WAS staff, in partnership with other water agencies and the Alliance for Water Awareness and Conservation (AWAC), provided education about water conservation and held winter weatherizing workshops for the many attendees who visited the booth. Over 4,000 people attended the three-day event.
