At the direction of the FCC, we will be terminating transmission of programming for channels 34-1, 34-2, 34-3, and 34-4 on Elephant Mountain, today, October 11, 2023. The license for broadcasting over these channels has expired and is not eligible for renewal. The District will continue to look for opportunities from the FCC to file applications for new licenses in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience and/or confusion this has caused for our customers. We are working with the FCC now to look for alternative solutions we can explore to get these channels turned back on or possibly adding other channels to the lineup.
