- CSA 40 is the only district to have two towers to provide television service for it’s district.
- The Elephant mountain tower was originally designated to produce Ultra High Frequency (UHF) signals, while the Newberry Springs Tower was designated for Very High Frequency (VHF) signals.
- The combined television signals encompass a 100 square mile area!
- This CSA serve approximately 35,000 households.
- About 14% of U.S. households watch TV exclusively over the air. That’s about 15.5 million households!
- Digital TV features newer technology than analog, as it provides a better overall picture and sound
