The Department of Public Works is pleased to announce the completion of Fawnskin Sewer Vacuum Pipe Project along Highway 38 in the Fawnskin area of Big Bear Lake beginning at Pine Kone Lane to approximately 2,500 feet east. Removed approximately 2,500 ft. of existing 4 inch main pipe and replaced it with 8 inch sewer vacuum main pipe. Resident lateral pipes were reconnected to the new main pipe and 15 new gate valves were installed along the main pipe to facilitate maintenance and control of pipe flows. The street pavement was restored and re-striped upon completion of installation.
